Cbs4 has learned that the suspect, julie steenhoak has been arrested. The elderly patient says steenhoak had been taking care of her, but family members said the person was brainwashed. We didnt have a clue on what was going on. This year, when julie steenhoak moved in with the elderly victim. Over time, she gained the victims trust, and was even written into the victims will. Investigators believe steenhoak was working to drain the victims Bank Accounts and even take the money from selling the house. In july, the victim died. I would love to see julie behind bars, so she cant do this to any other family at any other time. Reporter steenhoak was charged with felony at risk exploitation. But thats just seven Court Cases Involving steenhoak and the victims family. Steenhoak is still trying to claim money and as sets from the victim. I dont know her intentions.
