It impacts people in the area east of ne 34th to highway 65 and south of i80 to douglas avenue. Des moines water works Officials Say a water main break on thursday caused the advisory. Royal flush restaurant is stocking up on ice and bottled water for their customers. Residents say the inconvenience is frustrating. We had to go buy a bunch of bottled water, gallons of water. Officials arrived at the scene around 5 00 saturday morning at the intersection of oakcrest avenue and 290th street to find a Jeep Wrangler on its top. 60yearold paul shafer was found dead at the scene. Now the cause of the crash is under investigation. And now to an update in friday nights deadly crash in story county near gilbert. Police say 63yearold Ronald Kemmerer drove through a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle. The passenger in the vehicle, his 92yearold father, Kenneth Kemmerer died at the scene. Ronald, as well as the driver and two passengers in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. More top stories.
