It's having trouble separating the. Wheat occurring the kind. I was undergoing before I started working on. A lot of personal time. Yeah you know. And he. Found her. Well wasn't a good counter. It would be comparable to the different I mean it. Puts commission and competitors in the same salary and makes a. Job that I would be bidding on for the new company would be commercial for them much bigger so the connection but how did he act when he told me that you had been pursued by a competitor. I can tell you I am living the dream what's going on I need some help finding a direction to go with my career or job Ok what do you know tell me what you know what I'm deciding with. I'm currently got to do with the company. I just don't know how much growth there is right now Ok there and then I've got the other option is someone I've been working for on the side in the same industry you know different part of it. But you know where I would have more freedom I would become in a canoe. And be you know the potential there for kind of. Unlimited growth but not hold back I would have to create that and that's something I really never done before Ok you know it so I think I'm hearing why you're calling me you're not 100 percent sure that you believe in yourself in this 2nd opportunity and so it feels really risky right yeah yeah yeah well what industry are we talking about. Motor Sports motor sports what would you be doing in Opportunity Number 2 this new this new job. More of a manufacturing. Supplying parts to different customers in the industry Ok so how does it work you have to beat the past beat out get out on the street and find people that want to buy your parts kind of like Tommy boy. Yeah kind of you know find in the customers. What we have you know. You know what So it's straight up saying. Yeah you know the no good I'll be doing you know part of our company probably due in part of a back for manufacturing of that part as well that's weird but but you're telling me that the opportunity is is is there if you can deliver the clients the opportunity is really strong but it's basically a commission type of role is that right yeah star now you know I have to find. Basically create my own income to start with but then you know well is there a is there a 6 month or a one year draw type situation allow you to get on your feet or How's it work. Ok so I'm still in laws let's pause so I can't give you advice on this if I don't have all the information and you don't have the information so so I can tell you what you need to do you got to go back to this is this group that you've been working for on the side and they've offered you this opportunity you got to go get answers to these things. I got to tell you the 2 things I want answers to for you is how you're going to be manufacturing parts and selling them how do how does that work I don't know how that works I don't know that you know how that works I don't want to find out what that looks like or they think that rhythm looks like during the week meaning let's just take 40 hours for example how many hours are you going to be manufacturing stuff versus outselling And is it a function well I got to sell it then I come back or manufacture it and so I can get out and sell more until I mean in fact or what I just sold these making these questions making sense to you. Am I asking the right questions. Do you have the answers to those questions. No you don't know really Ok So Ok it's all good but But listen that's what you got to do because this is not what I would call a real alternative a real option right now because you don't have enough answers if you were to say yes to this today based on the lack of information that you have I think of the foolish so there's Miami now if you get an answer you get multiple answers and you find out that are you can here's what I'm dealing. So let me tell you what I would need to hear from you in order to recommend that you take this new opportunity. That a really clear on what your workflow looks like to succeed if it's a brand new company no one's ever succeeded at it I'd be real cautious and I wouldn't do it but if it's a new company and somebody has succeeded at it and you know their work flow and you feel confident that if you bust your heinie that you could do it. Then I say go for it. Because it is a work of the work but if it sets you back so much financially that you would be in desperation financially in your 1st $30.00 to $60.00 days if you're not deliver and on what it is that you've got to deliver to get paid would you get paid I would not take it either so I would find a better opportunity is what I'm saying does that make sense. You know all right buddy go for it you got to get answers folks listen just a reminder here what I just walk through it is really easy to be scared when you're not clear when you don't have all the answers really easy to be scared of course it's scary you know to be scared you've got to be out of your mind scared to move forward when you don't have answers. So in this situation Kyle's fear and lack of clarity all kind of go away when he just gets the answers to those specific questions clearly knows what he's facing as what the challenges are what it would take to succeed. You've got to say Babe I need to trust me I'm doing this for us and make the decision and if she's disappointed she'll get over Trust me she'll get over it paint a beautiful picture of the truth what's going to look like when you're making them the extra money in the current job then what's going to look like when you're a program developer how much money going to make sit down with her and show her what the average salary is for somebody that's doing what you want to do show her what life is going to look like when you all don't have any debt explain to her what you're going to be like when you're not having to go to classes and struggle to study for test that you don't want to deal with show her better vision that's based on reality and she'll come along with you but if you just go Hey I'm quitting college.
