They have the best candidate they could bring to the race but that is at close contest in arizona and republicans could lose that seat. Absolutely. Democrats have to defend 26 seats. They know they have to pick up arizona to take the senate back. Mc sally did win but she was running against two unpalatable candidates to split of the opposing vote so that helped her.
