Even if republicans get their way with a judge here in nevada, whatever is decided will likely be appealed to the state supreme court. That very court just last week certified the Election Results here in nevada. As it stands, at least in neva nevada, there were judges that have sided with republicans in their election process, the judges asking them to give the election to trump or toss out the Election Results entirely. They contest it wasnt a fair process and that the machines they use to verify the signatures, they are problemat problematic. We are quite confident that when the law in the facts are clearly adjudicated in this matter, it will be very clear that once all the voting happened, once everything occurred, the results were unreliable because of the irregularities and the fraud. Democrats say that this is a Desperate Campaign trying to overturn the will of the people. They say it lacks any sort of solid evidence and they believe that the machines were already considered lawful and they dont see any widespread problems. John we will keep watching is that unfolds. I can tell you that the president is going to challenge systems that he thinks failed. Hes going to fight for every vote and all the swing states and i would encourage him to do so. He also rejects the idea that the best way to help trump is to boycott the senate races. Thats insane. Anybody that suggests its good for us to lose the Georgia Senate races really doesnt understand whats in trumps best interest or that. Hes going to talk about election abuses that are real in georgia and hes going to urge people to get out and vote for the republican candidates in georgia to make sure we have a majority in the United States senate which is good for the trump legacy, good for the trump family and good for the country. John last night with my colleague Martha Maccallum you said the Trump Campaign has to prove itself in court, the inference being it hasnt done so yet. Have they gone any further distance during the day today to prove that case . Theres two venues here. They can go to the statehouses and make a case that irregularities occurred and petitioned the State Government to do something about it. They can go to state and federal court to try to get the courts to grant relief. And they are doing both. Heres what the president would like see happen in georgia and they are very reasonable requests. Audit the signatures on the envelopes of all mailin ballots. You dont have to do 100 but heres what i would suggest, that if you had a bipartisan system to verify signatures, you would have a larger rejection rate and then on election day and the day after. In other words, the signature verification system in georgia is inadequate in the best way to prove whether it works or not is to audit the signatures on the envelopes. You dont need the ballots for that. Secondly, the president believes georgia should change the laws before the Senate Runoff to make sure you have bipartisan verification of signatures and make some other changes that would protect the integrity of the senate races. Those are two very reasonable things that he would like to see done. John the president tweeting about that today but the president also talking about the attorney general bill barr today. Suggesting that bill barr is a statement that to date, they have not seen any fraud, and the magnitude of which would overturn the Election Results. Lets see what the president says about that. Well, he hasnt done anything. He hasnt looked. When he looks he will see the kind of evidence that right now you are seeing in the Georgia Senate. They are going through hearings right now in georgia and they are finding tremendous volume. So they havent looked very hard. Reporter do you still have confidence in bill barr . Ask me that in a number of weeks from now. John you the chairman of the judiciary committee. He talked to the attorney general all the time. What do you think of what the president said that bill barr has not looked deeply enough of the problem . They have been looking, i know that. I sent an affidavit signed by the gentleman in pennsylvania, dating ballots. End of the department of justice and post Office People actually talk to those people. If you have somebody come forward that is willing to sign an affidavit under oath that they saw something that was illegal or inappropriate, you do have an obligation to look at it. We give an example. Sean hannity had a gentleman on his show that claims he took ballots from new york to pennsylvania. I dont know if thats true or not. But if you have a truck driver willing to say under oath that he picked up ballots in new york that were pennsylvania in nature and drove them to pennsylvania, that would be an earthshaking revelation. If its true. If its not, we need to know. John what in your estimation is more important, the Runoff Election in georgia or the examination of the president ial race . Both, they are not mutually exclusive. Number one, this president deserves the system to respond to legitimate complaints. The signature verification system used on election day for mailin ballots in georgia was insufficient. If you audited the signatures you would find a great disparity but we will never know until you do the audit. As for winning the senate seats in georgia, President Trump was unequivocal in his support for senator perdue. He understands the best way to preserve his legacy is to keep a majority in the u. S. Senate and he categorically rejects the idea of boycotting the senate race in georgia as a way to help him. He called that crazy, and it is crazy. John but by saying the things that he says about the Voting System down there, does he not create doubt in some peoples minds about whether going to the polls would be effective . Okay, not in my view. The ballot box is the future of the senate in georgia. There is probably never been two more Important Senate races in modern senate races than in georgia. Validating signature verification of the last election, trying to find out whether fraud occurred in georgia for the president ial election is not inconsistent with going to vote in the Senate Runoff. But the home run here for us is for this Georgia Legislature and governor to fix the system while we still can. One of the ways theyre doing this, theyre offering demo flights to employees. We were on one yesterday. It was one of the first flights with members of the public on board since the aircraft was grounded in 2019. Since the two crashes you mentioned, theres been wiring fixes and an update to the Flight Control system that was partially to blame in the crashes. The pilots will have to do new training.
