And then there is this, the sign of once again at the white house, with the announcement that the chief economic adviser gary cohn is stepping down. You could do that job. Melissa i could, i am busy right now. I would think about it. Spilling good morning to you, welcome to happening now, i am jon scott. Melissa and i am melissa francis. Not seeing eye to eye with the president on his plan of tariffs and imports of steel and aluminum. His resignation is the latest in a series of departures from the Trump Administration. Meanwhile President Trump is insisting that there is no chaos at the white house, only great energy. Here is treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin talking about his exit. Ive known gary for a long time, a terrific partner working on tax reform and other things. There was a lot of speculation after tax reform whether he would stay or not, and he decided to move on. We have a great Economic Team and we will consistently execute the present strategy. Melissa chief White House Correspondent john roberts is live from the north lawn with more, you are not on the north lawn. You are inside. Good for you. I wear the treasury secretary was part of the departures keep going at this pace, we are going to be able to use the revolving door at the white house and the heat of the summer, there is no about that. Melissa that is a good one. It was no one thing that led to his departure, whether it was a dissemination of things that came to a head at a meeting yesterday afternoon after the president s press conference, cohn was advocating against tariffs on steel and aluminum, it was becoming clear as it has been clear for the last several weeks that he was going to lose that battle and it became the straw that broke the camels back, i am told. Additionally, there was not much on the president s agenda this year that cohn was going to be able to get behind. Looks like infrastructure is not going anywhere. What is left is the president renegotiating trade deals, and cohn does not believe that they should be renegotiated. So he was facing a future of pushing policy is that he did not support and no one appeared to be listening to his issues and that he wanted to stay around through that . Cohn did stay long enough to get a couple of issues through that were very important to him. Heres the press secretary Sarah Huckabee sanders. This is something that gary has been talking about for quite some time, one of the big goals was to help the president on historic tax cuts. We were able to do that at the end of last year. He has been an integral member of the administration and he will be a voice to the president and somebody that he can talk to you and lean on from the outsid outside. The irony of cohns departure is that it came not long after the president at that press conference downplayed the notion of the white house being consumed by chaos, with so many people leaving the ship. The president said that he wants to change a few more positions and thats plenty of talented people want to come and work here. Listen. I read that may be do not want to work for trump, believe me, everybody wants to work in the white house, they want a piece of the oval office and a piece of the west wing. It is tough. I like conflict and i like having two people with different points of view. I simply have that. So many people want to come in. I have a choice of anybody. I could take any position in the white house and i will have a choice of the ten top people having to do with that position everybody wants to be there. The white house officials told me was that cohn will stay on for a few more weeks until a new National Economic Council Chairman transitions in. There is also a chance, i am told that he could come back to the white house at some point. He has been on the shortlist for a cabinet position should one appropriate to him become available. As to who might replace them, a couple of names danny devout, kevin hassett, who is with the economic council. At the council of economic advisors paid all of these acronyms here at the white house, maybe larry could will, economist as well. Melissa he is one of my former partners, we will see. John roberts, thank you. [boos] this fox news alert on new legal action versus sanctuary cities paid we are waiting the attorney general Jeff Sessions who at any moment now will detailed a department of justice lawsuit against the state of california. It accuses the state of undermining federal Immigration Laws and seeks to undo the three california laws that protect immigrants living in this country illegally. Jeff sessions saying and repaired remarks that department of justice and the Trump Administration are going to fight these unjust, unfair, unconstitutional policies that have been imposed on you. Joining us now John Mccormick, Senior Writer at the weekly standard. This is an interesting federal versus state wrestling match, john, who do you see coming out on top . You never really know how the federal courts are going to decide on these issues, this is just one tool that the Trump Administration is using the crack down sanctuary cities. So far they have withheld some federal funds, federal grants that the administration has the authority to withhold, and that resulted in miami, coming into compliance. With this question, you really do not know. And the court has been all over the map in the 1990s, california passed a very tough Immigration Law, that the court struck down saying that california had no right to pass its own Immigration Laws different than the federal law. Interesting and the fact that the use is state law, but we do not really know, this is the cow how they are going to end up, we saw this with the federal courts held up the trump order regarding daca, this is an order that president obama issued, he said that the policy wouldve been unconstitutional, some judges have said a bizarre stance that President Trump does not have the authority to rescind the policy that president obama enacted via the executive action, again, you never really know how the courts are going to come out. The legal questions about jurisdictions, typically, withholding funds from civic cities has been the way that the federal government will try to cajole and course states into forcing imagery Immigration Law, but these are state laws and not something that is an interesting angle that they will have to grapple with. Jon jerry brown is not too happy with the president s in the attorney general in his state. Heres a tweet from the governor. He writes at a time of unprecedented turmoil Jeff Sessions has come to california to polarize america. These political stunts may be the norm in washington, but they do not work here, sad. I suppose the attorney general might have a few choice words for the governor. What you think . Perhaps, obviously this is an issue on which people can have legitimate disagreements, the side in favor of cracking down on things where cities has been really energized over the last few years. But the murder of kate stanley, which we heard in california, so i think that that might be a reason why Jeff Sessions is going there to highlight to this case, where a illegal immigrant who killed her had been recorded, she would be alive today. So obviously theyre both sides in the camp, ignore the fact that there is a political angle here as well. Obviously this is an issue where the Trump Administration thinks that they have the advantage cracking down on things where cities, i do think that the other side and people like Governor Brown to have a bit of an advantage, not an advantage on the question, but they are aided by the fact that to the daca issue is up in the air if they can highlight the pack fact that they were trying to protect lawabiding people who came hers miners, that is their best argument. But it could go both ways. [boos] california does not seek to protect just the lawabiding. For viewers that do not live in california. I want to give you one example of one of the loss that the Justice Department is challenging, sb 54, restricting Law Enforcement officials in california from notifying federal immigration officials about the release dates for prisoners in their custody. Prisoners who have been convicted of a crime in california, california says you cannot to notify the feds about to those release dates, it also prohibits local officials from transferring those prisoners to federal custody. On its face, it sounds a little nuts. I think that that is the best for the federal lawsuit, these are state laws constraining the actions of local officials. Technically if local officials and sanctuary cities have happiness because they are saying, hey, we are exercising our own judgment about where we are going to deploy resources. This is a federalist system, the fact that the state law is trying to course local officials into doing something contrary to federal Immigration Law and federal policy, i think that that will be the best argument. But you never know how federal judges are going to rule on these things. Jon waiting for the attorney general to make those remarks, John Mccormick from the weekly standard, thank you for joining us. Thank you. Melissa a fox news alert for missouri where another Police Officer has been killed on the line of duty, clinton officer Christopher Ryan morton was fatally shot last night as he and two other officers responded to a 911 called at a home about 75 miles outside kansas city. The Clinton County 911 center received a 911 call from a residence. There were two women screaming in the background, the phone was still open, the line was still open. Melissa two other officers were injured but expect to be okay. As the s. W. A. T. Team leader enter the home and found the suspect dead, and investigation is underway to determine if the suspect was shot by police or if you took his own life. Martins death marks the second clinton Police Officer to die in the line of duty in the last seven months. At least 20 officers of across the United States have died while on duty this year. With at least 14 on the desk caused by gunfire. Jon the governors of new jersey and pennsylvania all ready declaring a state of emergency as another one makes its way through the east. The second one to hit in less than a week. This storm expected to dump more than a foot of snow in some places, emergency officials preparing for power outages, airlines are already canceling nearly 2000 flights. Melissa white house Senior Advisor and President Trumps soninlaw Jared Kushner is headed to mexico today to meet with mexican president , the white house says that the trip will explore ways to expand cooperation on security, immigration and trade, the trip comes against strained relations over trade and President Trump demands mexico to pay for the border wall. They canceled the plane trip to washington a few weeks ago following a contentious phone call with President Trump. Two powerful lawmakers calling for a Second Special counsel to look into allegations of fisa court abuse in our next guest agrees with them. Congressman matt gates with his take on the situation could hear his trey gowdy, one of those behind this request. We do not routinely call for special counsel, i resisted to call in other cases, this fact pattern ask unique and compelling, and i think you all will consider it. This is a tomato you can track from farm, to pot, to jar, to table. And serve with confidence that its safe. This is a diamond you can follow from mine to finger, and trust it never fell into the wrong hands. This is a shipment transferred two hundred times, transparently tracked from port to port. This is the ibm blockchain, built for smarter business. Built to run on the ibm cloud. Melissa breaking my now, two Top Republican lawmakers, 1 of 2nd special counsel to claim fisa court abuse, after a g. O. P. Memo accused top fbi and Justice Department officials leading the fisa court when they saw a warrant to survey will carter page, house judiciary chairman Bob Goodlatte is one of the lawmakers calling for a special counsel. Here he is last night on special report explaining why. The fbi is americas premier Law Enforcement organization. Every day thousands and thousands of great men and women keep us safe investigate crime, prevent terrorist attacks, but several people at the top of this organization have engaged in activities that are questionable. And i think that in order to set the record straight, clear what is going on at the fbi and make sure that this does not happen again, we need to have an outside special counsel investigation. Melissa joining me now, matt gates, the member of the house judiciary committee. Thank you for joining us. Either did democrats argument is that there was always so much evidence out there against carter page or at least that warranted the idea of trying to see what he was doing, the meetings that he took with various people, he himself saying that he was an adviser to the kremlin, that there was tons of evidence, how could there be fisa abuse . In 2015 there was a federal court filing where people were calling carter page an idiot who they deem to have no value, while at some point in time there may have been a legitimate basis to look into mr. Page, that expired after the phis application was submitted to the court. Moreover if the evidence on carter page was enough, why was the leading piece of evidence in this phis application the dossier that was paid for by the dnc and had information from russians and was a political document to validate in the Intelligence Committee because fusion gps hired bruce ohrs wife with money from the democratic party, so there is evidence that indicates that there were people at the senior level, the department of justice and the fbi who steered Hillary Clinton away from trouble and then manifested their bias to work against President Trump before and after his election. Melissa one of your colleagues trey gowdy had more reason. To listen the less. Will change for me was the knowledge that there are two dozen witnesses which the Inspector General would not have access to. So your options are doj investigators themselves, they cannot do that because of conflict of interest. Let the Inspector General to which, i am a big fan of mike horwitz, but he has no jurisdiction of a witness that was at the department or never work there. When i count up 24 witnesses that he would not be able to access where he too investigated, yes, only one conclusion, that a special counsel. It is very significant, melissa, eight months ago 120 members of Congress Called for a special counsel to look into the matters, trey gowdy was not among dos. And the significant members of congress who understand the practical impossibility of having the department of justice look at that themselves, people asked me why is there no one in jail yet or challenges abroad, and the answer is congress can under cover of the facts. And they can give us illuminating details, we cannot slap handcuffs on anybody. We do not have the power, only the attorney general can get a Second Special counsel. Melissa when people think that something went wrong, they are in two camps. There are ones who were bad actors in the fbi they need to be rooted out or the department of justice and then there are others who think that there is a fundamental problem with the idea of a secret court that seems to be accountable to no one, which side do you come down on . I think that you can agree with both of those statements, it is one of the reasons why i look for bipartisan reform to the very court. And it was adam schiff, the democrat Ranking Member of the Intelligence Committee in 2013 filed fisa court reform legislation to give president obama more powers to appoint fisa court judges. Ive reintroduced mr. Schiffs legislation, but he refuses to cosponsor his own bill, he does not want to give President Trump the same power that he wanted to give president obama. We need to Work Together as publicans and democrats, because both republicans and democrats will be in power in the future and we do not want to see a politicization of the Intelligence Committee or a secret court that can deprive americans of their liberties. Melissa matt gates, thank you for your time. Thank you. Jon a fox news alert, things are getting underway in sacramento, the attorney general of the United States announcing the lawsuit against the state, we are going to monitor that and bring in the highlights. In the meantime, his counterpart, secretary of state Rex Tillerson is on the african continent helping to mend fences and reshape u. S. Africa policy. And democrats turned out in droves for the texas primary, could this be a sign of the blue wave coming in the midterm . You are right, my opponent is raising a ton of money, it does not hurt that Chuck Schumer came down to texas and brought his liberal buddies with them, and they would love to see the state of texas have an antigun, big government, proamnesty, liberal governments represented. Kids safelite repair, safelite replace if youre going to run and texas you cannot be a liberal man because liberal thought is not the spirit of a lone star man you have to be tough in texas jon ted cruz is not wasting any time gearing up for the midterm, that was part of the new radio ad, a country song taking on his democratic challenger beto arroyo compared joining us for more on the texas primary, the senator for politics at the university of virginia. So the democrats turn out for the primary and a big serious way in texas, what does that portend for the future . You are correct about that, look at the big picture, two and a half million texans turned out in early march to vote in primaries for an election that wont be held until early november, they said a good example for the rest of the country, so lets salute them for that, and you are certainly correct, democratic turnout was way up compared to the last Midterm Election in 2014. Republican turnout also increased, but not nearly as much. However, when you look at the total votes, 1 million and a half voted in republican primaries, 1 million voted in democratic primaries. So the long story short, democrats are doing a better, but they are still way behind. And i doubted that texas turns this year. As the little catchy tune said, texas is a conservative state. And i think that that will prove true even in a tough year for republicans, which this year may be. Jon interesting, that radio ad, and never mentions donald trump. I suppose given the the bad blood between ted cruz and President Trump now President Trump during the primary, that is no surprise, and also smart politics. I think it is smart politics, trump won texas, but by nine percentage points, they normally win 12, 15 state wide or more, and ted cruz is a National Figure on his own, a wellknown statewide figure in texas. I dont think that he has to lean on anybody to run. And notice that it was a country song, and where is the republican strength in texas and throughout the south and really throughout the country . In rural areas in places where Country Music is especially popular. Jon does this say anything to the Republican Party at large, at least in texas, democrats are energized. Yes, i think that if this continues, again, eight months until the election right now democrats are more energized than republicans, and this is showing up in polls, even places like nebraska of all states. So right now, democrats are more energized, but as we have learned over the years, john, you cannot extrapolate from early march all the way to november and expect it to hold. Sometimes it is going to change. Usually it changes. Jon dr. Larry sabado, always some good tickets. Thank you. Thank you. Melissa we want to take you back to attorney general Jeff Sessions, lets listen in. A big part of President Trump selection. And elections have consequences. The American People spoke about this. Immigration law is the problem of the federal government, it is in the constitution. To this administration and this Justice Department are determined to make it work effectively for all of our people. I understand that we have a wide variety of political opinions out there on immigration, but the law is in the books. And its purposes are clear and just. There is no nullification. There is no see session secession, federal law is the law of the land. I would invite you to go to gettysburg or the tombstones of John C Calhoun or abraham lincoln, this matter has been settled. They refuse refusal to apprehend and take those add to the criminal element rejects all Immigration Law. It is a rejection of law. And it creates an open borders system. It is the only way that it can be described. An open borders is a radical, irrational idea that cannot be accepted, American People will not accept. And the United States of america, not some idea, it is a secular nation states. With a constitution, with laws, with borders. All of which are designed to protect our nations interest, and we should be able to agree, certainly on this. So to carry out the intent of our law, we need law offices. Thats what you and your departments do every day. We need our immigration and customs officers, our i. C. E. Officers, our Border Patrol officers, they are your brother and sisters. President trump, the congress and the American People want to accomplish these goals, our laws have set out for them. Thats why we pay them. Thats why they get paid salary. But california, we have a problem. A series of actions and events has occurred here that directly and adversely impacts the work of our federal officers. For example, the mayor of oakland has actively has actively been seeking to help illegal aliens aboard the prehension by i. C. E. And those who take the law and illegality. Theres no way to understand those remarks. The Lieutenant Governor of the state praised her for doing so. Bragging about and encouraging the obstruction of our Law Enforcement and i am afraid that this is an embarrassment to the proud state of california. The director of i. C. E. Has said being a Law Enforcement officer is already dangerous enough, but to give the criminals a heads up that we are coming in the next 24 hours increases that risk. I watch the mayors statement when she said that her priority is the safety of the community, but what she did had the exact opposite effect. And i think that that is a fair criticism and statement. According to acting director, i failed to make 800 arrests which would have been made if the mayor did not make her statement. Those are 800 wanted criminals that are now at large in that community, 800 warranted criminals that i. C. E. Will have to pursue by other means with more difficulty and in dangerous situations, all because of one irresponsible action. So heres my message, how dare you, how dare you needlessly endanger the lives of our Law Enforcement officers to promote a radical, open borders agenda. But in california, we have bigger problems also. More than just one mayor, for example in january, in touro touro county denied a request from i. C. E. To hold an alien that they had arrested and put in their custody for continuous sexual abuse of a child. Instead of being removed from the country, he was released back into the community and now federal Law Enforcement officers are trying to find him and arrest him wherever he may be. In recent years, the California Legislature has enacted a number of laws designed to intentionally obstruct to the work of our sworn immigration officers. To intentionally use every power that the legislature has to undermine the duty of established Immigration Law of america. California law now want the employers voluntarily allowing i. C. E. Agents on their property, not even allow them on their property with the company allows them to. And california requires to give notice to the employees before i. C. E. Comes to inspect their workplace. This law was before the general assembly, a Judicial Committee explicitly stated that its goal was to frustrate and expected increase in federal immigration and enforcement acts, which of course it was. It was designed to frustrate to the work that we were required to do under the laws of this country. I. C. E. Agents are federal Law Enforcement officers carrying out federal law. California cannot forbid them or obstruct them in doing their jobs. Just imagine if a state passed a law forbidding employees from cooperating with osha in ensuring Workplace Safety or the Environmental Protection agency for looking after polluters. Would you pass a law to do that . And just think about the situation that it puts california employers in. They want to help Law Enforcement, they want to do their civic duty. We ought to be encouraging them and thankful to them, but your state attorney general repeatedly promised to prosecute these business owners. Let me quote what he said more than once, ignorance of the law is no excuse if you violate eight, you are subjecting yourself to up to 10,000 in fines for violation. So this is a great state, i do not want to be in this position of having to challenge these laws. It was not something that i chose to do. I cannot sit by idly while the Lawful Authority of officers is being blocked by a legislative act and politicians. California has also claimed that there are inspecting facilities where i. C. E. Holds people in custody. California has targeted at six facilities and demanded documents and other materials from the department of homeland security. California Law Enforcement officers like you and your people to transfer prisoners to i. C. E. Custody, even to communicate with i. C. E. That you are about to release them from their custody. The people at i. C. E. Are looking for them. Remember that california found his people dangerous enough to detain them in the first place. But then insist on releasing them back into the community instead of allowing federal officers to remove them. And rather than allowing i. C. E. Officers to do their jobs with a transfer that the jail house, they force our officers to conduct more dangerous arrests elsewhere where violent criminals may reside and where children can be caught in a cross fire. That is just not unconstitutional, it is a plain violation of federal statute and a violation of common sense, a violation of Good Partnership that we need to build up between state federal officers. Importantly, the law is harmful to californians and especially harmful to our Law Enforcement. You are Law Enforcement. So that is why the Department Filed a suit against the state of california to invalidate these unjust laws and to immediately freeze their effect, federal agents must be able to do the job that congress directed them to do. Contrary to what you might hear from open borders, radicals, we are not asking california, oakland, or anyone else to actually effectively enforce Immigration Laws, although we would welcome the positive assistance, the majority of jurisdictions that america provides to the federal officers, we would certainly like that. But i see them do incredible work every day, they are not backing down, they are not going to be deterred. And we will not stop enforcing law in alabama or california either, for that matter. Youre simply asking the state and other sanctuary jurisdictions to stop actively obstructing federal Law Enforcement. Stop treating immigration agents differently from everybody else for the purpose of eviscerating border and Immigration Law in advancing an open borders philosophy shared by only a few. The most radical extremists. Stop protecting lawbreakers and giving all officers more dangerous work to do. So that politicians cans score political points on the backs of officer safety. I cannot accept that. You are professionals, you know the risk that we are talking about. You know what happens on the street and how your officers operate. Think about the scene of an officer or knocking on a door to execute a warrant, they do not know what is on the other side of that door. It is not fair to them to be putting them in a situation where they are like that by releasing criminal aliens into the community who should not even be in the country. I signed condolence letters for Law Enforcement officers killed on the line of duty. I have signed two yesterday. I fundamentally believe at my core that we should not further endanger the lives of those who risk everything for us because some official wants to violate the law and promotes an agenda that the American People reject. So california, absolutely appears to me is using every power it has, powers that it does not have to frustrate federal Law Enforcement. So you can be sure that im going he knows every power that i i have to stop that. We are going to fight these irrational unfair, unconstitutional policies that have been imposed on you and your officers, and are federal officers. We are fighting to make your job safe. We are fighting to help you reduce crime in america, not increase it by keeping criminals here that ought to be deported. We are fighting for a lawful system of immigration. One that we can be proud of. One that is consistently applied, fairly applied. And we intend to win this fight. So i would like to close by reiterating my deep appreciation and profound thanks to all of the men and women of Law Enforcement, federal, state, tribal, the work that you do and then to have dedicated their lives to is essential. It is essential for any advanced nation. I believe it. The department of justice believes that. President trump believes that, and you can be sure about this, we have your back. Do you have our thanks. Thank you all, and god bless. [applause] melissa that was attorney general Jeff Sessions, right now he is in sacramento, california. He was addressing the association of california Police Officers. Melissa fox news alert, a series of highprofile departures in the white house, economic adviser gary cohn after disagreeing with the president on tariff. Joining me now, former press secretary for republican roy blunt, and the democratic strategist, attorney and contributor to the hill, thank you for joining us. The president said that he likes to see two people on opposite sides of the issue duke it out so that he can hear the best from both sides and make a decision. And it is normal to see this kind of confrontation in the white house, may be gary cohen was tired of it, what you think . If you look at what he accomplished during his time in the white house, he came here to packs tax reform, and i think that we will see positive reaction from us across the country for republicans knowing the republicans past it going into november and 2020 but he can walk out of their head hill have i. Melissa is somebody who has studied economics and followed finance and known gary cohn, he never followed the trump agenda. A lot of us were puzzled when he was initially tapped, and he has seen two done work that the president likes, but he did not go with what was left of the agenda for this year. Gary cohn went to get a tax cut done. And the tariffs are going to remove any gain that today put in place. This is a bigger point, what we are looking out is the white house old england, the titans seeing more people even the president doubled down on his face. Which is the only thing that stands be between him and impeachment. Melissa i dont see how you link it to russia. Linking everything in the planet to russia, but this seems like it is front and center about trade. If you look at this, the democrats and a lot of the media have try to have it both ways on this. When trump was bringing Steven Mnuchin and gary cohn to the white house said he was too close to wall street, now they are like, it is the end of the world, everybody is leaving. You are trying to have it both ways. And i do not think that it flies. Melissa michael, the president does all of his negotiations by starting from some extreme position that nobody expected, either to the right or the left of what he has been before and negotiates back from there. About the common strategy whether you are buying a car or a house or a trade deal to give them a lowball or or an outrageous offer to get different point. You dont think that that is what the president is doing here again . I have to be honest, i have no idea what he is doing. This is not like a car negotiation. This is the leader of the free world talking about putting tariffs on our allies. We are not talking about foreign adversaries, but on canada, on south korea. Countries that we are trying to work with for a for a Foreign Policy like north korea and russia. Melissa may be everybody has done deals like a president has done bad deals, maybe that is what he is thinking. Gentlemen, thank you to both of you. All that plus outnumbered, the guy in the middle, i hear that it is his birthday. See you then. Jon the house Intelligence Committee is said to be getting close to wrapping up its investigation into the Russian Election meddling, former Trump Campaign manager Cory Lewandowski is scheduled to appear for the second time. Republicans have left no stone unturned. I think he has gone as far as he can, but i would say to me, i dont see anybody else out there who has not been explored. Any investigation had a conclusion, we are coming towards the end of it. Jon utah congressman Chris Stewart on the house Intelligence Committee, he joins me now. Do you agree with your colleagues that this thing is near an end . We are getting to this point, i know that there are some that would like a to go on probably forever, and if not forever, at least through the Midterm Elections, they would like that to be the story. At some point you have made a reasonable camp to interview the witnesses and ask the questions, and we also want to balance that with we want to report to the recommendations and report the things they have discovered, and hopefully before the Midterm Election so that we can take some of the recommended actions. I think that we are getting close on that. Jon you will be putting out recommendations to go with your conclusions . Absolutely, what would this be, it would be wasted if we do not to make some of those recommendations. Things that we can actually fix. Now one of the things to mention, antelope, the democratic colleagues gave us a list of nearly 100 witnesses that they wanted us to call, some of them are russians, one of the witnesses has actually passed away. Look, it is going to be hard for us to interview the other hundred, and frankly, we do not see very reasonable ties and information that they can give us that would be helpful. They are going to say that, we are truly not cutting the investigation off. We have reached a point where we have all of the information that is necessary for the American People. What about the partisan nature . Generally the Intelligence Committee has not been a partisan vehicle, this time around we have seen the republican memo and then the ten page democratic answer to the republican memo. Has all of this become so poisoned by partisan politics that the American People are not necessarily going to trust whatever conclusions you reach . I really, really hope not, in the report that we hope to release, it will hopefully be bipartisan. We are working very, very hard to make it nonpartisan, nonpolitical. We do not point fingers or accuse other members of the other party, whatever it might be. We want this to be a helpful document. One of the things that i left about the Intelligence Committee is that we use to work behind closed doors. We used to have this element of security and privacy around us, we do better work when we are not grandstanding for the cameras. We have lost a little bit of that. I think many of us feel regretful about that. We would like to go back to doing something other than this russian investigation, which is very important work that we need to continue to do, and to do that, once again maybe not for the cameras but the security of the country. Jon all right, Chris Stewart, republican of utah, good to get your perspective. And we look forward to reading those recommendations when that is finally finished. Thank you, good to be with you.
