We have complete coverage from coast to coast. You are looking live in Las Vegas Nevada and hollywood, florida. First polls are set to close 5 or 6 hours from now. The outcome could come out to turn out. We have the editor of the wall street journal. Hillary Clinton Clinton is supposed to have the better ground operation and donald trump is said to have the energy and excitement. Which one of those holds the edge, daniel . There is an element that is common. And most people, the overwhelming majority of the voters are disgusted bite campaign or disspirited. And there was a school of thought that that might result in a lower turn out. And you have to ask yourself what is driving the enormous amount of turn out there . It is a Common Element in the election. The desire to change. Change in the economy or our political system or culture. What we call Political Correctness i think the race has tightened. Trump is a candidate of change. Hillary clinton cant pretend to be and i dont think she has. But she is relying on the Field Operation and big blue machine and turn out in the democratic party. Well find out in the whether that is helping people with a desire to change in the polls. Donald trump has been an a gnath maand including the governor in the state. And signs that republicans have sort of come home. Why is that . Are are they ignoring the Traditional Party leaders. No it is the reason they are coming to the polls. They understand the implication of a clinton presidency. We know the campaign is built around two personalities. You are getting a Political Party and looked at what the clintons represent and obama has done eight years and they are deciding whatever their feelings, about donald trump personalitily. They cant a boyd four more years and taken it much further left and in the mid1990s. This is not the party of bill clinton. And a lot of people are looking past those personalities and i know it overwhelmed us to take a look at what would come with those two presidencies and what come with it, are two different sets of policies. Voters are hungry for a change in direction and those changes have to do with issue and policies. I remember the colume you wrote in the wall street journal entitled Donald Trumps mosh pit. He seemed to harnest the desire for change that voters are hung row for. There is no question about that. And i point out. Watch how it affects the senate. We are talking about whether people would divide their vote. I will make a prediction that republicans will hold the senate. It has a lot to do with this. The Democratic Candidates are are unable to attach themselves to change. The republicans by default are picking up a lot of that vote and i think they are holding the senate and i think that trump may pull it off for the reasons i am describing. Rob portman was down ten point and now up 18. It doesnt look like the democrats will flip this one. Dan, thank you. Jenna, voting is underway. Both campaigns underscored how critical it is. And what that can bring to it either campaign. John downman. A political professor in wake forest university. It is great to it have you back on the program. I know you have class and which is why you are joining us from the university. We spoke off air and you gave me great information on how tight the race is in North Carolina by the numbers. Tell our viewers has close this race has been. You can make the case that North Carolina is most evenly balanced. Two Percentage Points separated the candidates in 2012. We are talking about several dozen votes for are precinct that separate the candidate and very evenly balanced and that is born out by the polls in 2016. It is a busy starbucks. Look at where you are in america. Difference of the voters in the starbucks could make a difference in North Carolina. The africanamerican vote is something that folks talk about in North Carolina. At a Hillary Clinton rally, this is what they told me. On the top of your list jobs and the economy and concerns for folks in North Carolina. It is job and equal opportunity and more cohesiveness. And our Community Relations with the police. And definitely the things that impact and important to us. And when you go to an event like this and the voting sites. How does it compare to 2012 . 2012, this year, people are more, in 2012, the votes went down a lot compareded to 208. We saw what happened in 2012 it changed the house and senate a lot. And has majorly affected our state. Really interesting perspective from a mother and daughter. How important is the africanamerican vote for either side . Africanamerican vote is crucial in North Carolina. They make up 22 percent of the states population and that is highest percentage of any other ballot state. The youth voters and suburban women. They were crucial to obamas win. And the key going into 2016 is how they do in terms of turn out and support for the democratic candidate. We have a few signs that africanamerican is lagging behind in 2016 where it was in 2012. Not dramatic amount but people take notice, unless it is made up today, that could put democrats in a tougher position than they were in 2008 and 12. Interesting, what else did we learn from early Voting Results . The top line that comes out. They provide a lot of data. And North Carolina is right up there in any of the country. Democratic early turn out is where it was in 2012. Republican turn out, up by 12 Percentage Points. Unaffiliated voter surged in the early votering in 2016 compareed to 2012. Thats what they are paying to. Who are the unaffiliated voter and who might they be. We are looking for them. Andy woo thank you so much. Jon . Jenna, i am in ohio over the last 150 years, voters of this state sided with the president ial winner and every time in 1960. This years race could change what we know about ohio. Our next guest has the early indicatiors. Remember that fox news, live coverage and all day and night. Latest result and fair and balanced reaction as america chooses our next president. Well be back with more happening now live in columbus, ohio and raliegh, North Carolina. Before it became a medicine, it was an idea. A wild whatif. So scientists went to work. They examined 87 different protein structures and worked for 12 long years. There were thousands of patient volunteers and the hope of millions. And so after it became a medicine, someone who couldnt be cured, could be. Me. This clean was like pow everything well . It added this other level of clean to it. 6x cleaning my teeth are glowing. They are so white. 6x whitening a i actually really like the 2 steps. Step 1, cleans. Step 2, whitens. Every time i used this together, it felt like leaving the dentist office. Crest hd. 6x cleaning , 6x whiteninga i would switch to crest hd over what i was using before. Crest. Healthy, beautiful smiles for life. Welcome bavenlth a split show edition. We are in raliegh, North Carolina. Interesting fact about this buildinged, the Governors Office is there. It has the longest continuous office for governor in the country in this building. It is paying close attention to the top of the ticket as about, jon. And of course, the nations eyes are on how ohio. With me is the director of ash land university. We are on the western edge of the eastern times ago. The polls six hours from now. What are you watching . We usually see the smaller counties reporting earliest. And the Rural Counties tend to be the republican county and it looks good for the republicans early on. And as the night goes on, well see the larger cities reporting and well see that shift. And i think there are two counties that you can look at that are small counties that are good bell weathers for ohio. Ash land county, probably the most conservative county in the state and only voted democrat twice for fdr and lbj. And if trump performs at 65 percent or better in ash land county in ohio, that is a good sign for him that the polls really are not capturing the conservative base that is out there. What about Ottawa County . Ottawa cooperate is the other one. 1964 always selected the candidate who is president. Inely split republican democrat and a great bell weather and it is reporting early and probably 8 30 or 9 00, we could see results that are an indicator. Over all howe numbers are not expected to come in until 1 30 or 2. But the small counties that report early will give you and the viewers a good indication. Thats what i will be watching tonight. In terms of voter attitudes. I mean there is an appetite for change this election. Has donald trump done that or is Hillary Clinton resonating with ohio . Ohio is evenly split and probably why it will be a tight race in ohio. And whether or not that case for change and whether or not donald trump was the right person to make that case for change well end up seeing later tonight. Last time around, the Obama Campaign and Romney Campaign sud is suddenly popped in. We havent heard are inications. Mrs. Clinton is doing radio and mr. Trump seems to be keeping it quiet today. We havent heard indications of anything in the state today. You dont know if there is a lastminute visit from either one. No indications yet. And terms of kioga county suggest that turn out is light. That is a democratic strong hold. Yes. Perhaps that does not bode well for Hillary Clinton. But franklin county, numbers are through the roof and this is a democratic strong hold. I dont think we can look at those early numbers as a indicator. It will be late in the night before we see what happens in ohio. Fascinating race. Jenna . John, we are going to talk about early voting numbers. Are they a good predictor in North Carolina. Our next guest believes they bode well with donald trump. And last night i spoke to Hillary Clinton supporters. Nine hours until the polls open and this is what it looks like for Hillary Clinton in the midnight rally. Will this turn into votes. Well see, more coming up on happening now. Ance company wont replace the full value of your totaled new car. The guy says, you picked the wrong insurance plan. No, i picked the wrong insurance company. With new car replacement™, well replace the full value of your car plus depreciation. Liberty mutual insurance. Well play something besides video games. Even if you look at registered voters. 2 million republican and unaffiliated voters. 2 million unaffiliated voer and that voting block is crucial for clinton and donald trump. I am joined by the North Carolina director of affiliation. It is very, very important. Talk to us from the Trump Campaign perspective. How dew reach them. We have improved since 2012 the door knocks and phone banking and the number of people on the ground. We have 775 operatives and staffers and hitting the neighborhood daily. And we have improved nationwide door knocking and 20 million. And you hear what they say about republicans. Republicans dont have the ground game and in the end that translate votes. We have been be on the ground through rnc and Trump Campaign more recently. Since 2013, rnc had had a substantial presence here in North Carolina. And that is registration is well in excess of where the democrats are. They will be in big numbers and neighbors in the state. And moore county and union county. And we are in a different county that is many say that will lean democrat. And what is the message that is resonated with voters. You have seen donald trump go to different states. And the message is momentum. And i feel like in the campaign that we have closeded the gap. Whatever it was in the last few weeks. In states like North Carolina and michigan and ohio and florida. We not only closed the gap. But it is about momentum and getting our voters out. And donald trump had a big event we spoke to a big voting block. Reason why we are voting for Hillary Clinton we like her resume and thats what they said. What is your argument. Thats why they voted for Hillary Clinton. Americans want change and they dont want eight more years and donald trump is the change candidate. I hear it from all corners of the state. We want a change and tired of the way thingsar. We want someone new and fresh to come in and drain the swamp. How confident are you. Consciously optmaftic. And kirk. It is great to it see you. Bust of luck and well talk to it the Clinton Campaign in a moment. Jon. We are live in the ultimate battleground state. Who will they pick today. And that is anyones guess. Remember when you said that men are superior drivers . Yeah. Yeah, then howd id get this. Allstate safe driving bonus check . Only allstate sends you a bonus check for every six months youre accidentfree. Silence. Its good to be in, good hands. Im terhe is. At golf. But id like to keep being terrible at golf for as long as i can. New patented ensure enlive has hmb plus 20 grams of protein to help rebuild muscle. For the strength and energy to do what you love. New ensure enlive. Always be you. A fox news alert. In the 2016 race happening now. Live in the ground in two battleground states. I am jenna lee here in raliegh, North Carolina. And i am in ohio, the polls will close six hours from now. The cleveland newspaper is urging people to get out in vote. Now it is up to you. Henry gomez is the papers chief political reporter. Henry, you you say that this race is still pretty much a jump ball . Yeah, that is right, jon. It could go anybodys way. Donald trump had a slight edge over Hillary Clinton. But if it comes down to at this time ground games, Hillary Clinton is superior on the ground in ohio. And working with the Ohio Democratic party and trump has had turbulence with the Ohio Republican machine here in ohio. And if that makes a difference it could swing the race to Hillary Clinton. We all know that donald trump and john kasich is not best of friends and kasich hasnt lent his political muscle to the Trump Campaign. Clearly, you know, that has hurt trump, but it might not be a deathblow you are saying . No, donald trump has succeededed in the polls. And one reason ohio is different than the classic battle grouped states, is highest concentration of White Working Class workers. Well look at east sxern southeastern parts of the state. Democratic areas like youngs town. And this is an area that i dont know if he will win the county but he will shave the margins on Hillary Clinton. She has to make these votes up elsewhere. And the early voting returns are not great for Hillary Clinton and it is not great for Hillary Clinton in that cooperate. She is underperforming president obamas totals in 2012. Well be looking at the rural and industrial parts of eastern and Southeastern Ohio to see if donald trump can outperform romney. And i think he is. I spoke to people in jaks downer. What did they have to say about the race . It is very stressful. And i noticed that with my friends. Everybody is split. They love to talk about politics. And 95 percent is negative talk and i agree with both sides. Yeah. It is sad. You think it is going to be tough once we know who the win are is . You think it will be tough to heal the bitterness . You opened a lot of wounds and saw peoples true character and with that, there is a lot of the caution in moving forward and seeing what peoples perspective is on race. And this is money and ideaism. It is sad. It is also enlightening to see where people and their character lies. That is a question, henry or is this state and country going to heal up after the winner is decided here . That makes ohio a great microca syn. And you have trump and reagan democrat and they are messed together on election day. And you will have to see the next president and he will have to try to bring all of the people together. And in a state like ohio, you have so many different voters, that is a challenge but it gives you a good testing ground of how to heal people and bring them back together. That is a microkasm. And pleasure, thank you. And a short time ago, we heard from a top trump official. David, Communications Director for the North Carolina democratic party. And misspoke earlier. You you are on the same team. We are working together to elect them up and down the ballot. I asked kurt how he is reaching that specific voters. How are you you reaching them . That is the question mark. Will they vote for a woman and secretary clinton who is ready to be president on day one and part of the team that brought Osama Bin Laden to justice and a plan to continue our Economic Growth so that no one is left behind. Or will they choose in donald trump someone whos economic plant will plunge a recession and baited by a tweet. And yes, experience to be president. You think it is a stark choice. Kurt said the vote is about change and someone coming in to office that is different and why we are resonated with the unaffiliated voter. We had eight years of Economic Growth. And we know we have more work to do and secretary clinton is the right choice to continue that. Unaffiliated voters will be turned off by Donald Trumps rhetoric. And the list goes on and on. And what are we doing to reach out to it them . Democrats have made more than 3 million voter attempts contacts. We are knocking on door and turning out the vote and a super ground game that will help elect a new governor in roy cooper. We spoke to folks not associated with campaigns and said the early Voting Results it is close. It is very close. They are giving an edge to it the Trump Campaign. And they feel that the polling. We dont talk as of today. But they were looking back. They felt early voting numbers suggested that trump could pull it out. I dont think that is accurate. We have seen higher turn out with the women many of whom are turned off. And we are are seeing higher turn out with young people and they are turned off about the antiimdprant rhetoric. And the racism. And i think the question is unaffiliated voters. They will break for clinton. And is there an argument to voters primarily that it is a vote against trump to vote for her . No tis a stark contrast. I mention the things they are voting for. Expand to it not leave anyone behind and economy that works for everyone. And includes working class and middleclass families and in a country that says we are america and we are truly stronger together. And not a campaign or party that seeks to divide us by what we look like and race and race and religion we are. Well be in the location tonight to get the results and maybe well talk again when we get more information. David, thank you so much. Appreciate it. Jenna, you are in North Carolina and i am in ohio. And another state playing a pivotal row. Donald trump hopes to flip a state that hasnt voted republican since reagan. In known 80. Motorcycle to to bin live in wisconsin. Reporter thats the race that has people watching the badger state. It could contribute to the balance of pour in the senate. That is a repatch. And that is now a dead heat. And hes joined by wisconsins conservative power block. And with ron johnsons election. We in wisconsin control who controls the United States senate. You pass it in the house and get it on the that would be in the u. S. Senate. And choose whether or not we want washington values or someone with wisconsin values. Turn out has been high. Not overwhelming. Reporter the early voting has broken records. And high in dane county and home to patterson. They are not sweating that. People who voted early have made up their minds and what we have going for us is all of the momentum. Independents are breaking toward us. And now House Speaker paul ryan does have an opponent in the general election. They are not concerned about that. They are more concerned about the unitty following the election. And we want to bring you a sewn in another closely watched state. New hampshire is a toss up according to the fox scorecard. Will the voters chose . I voted for truffle. And. Feel hillary was corrupt. I have read a lot of Different Things about her and i feel it is time for trump. I voted for Hillary Clinton, to it bring the country back together. Thats what we need. I voted for had Hillary Clinton mainly because i hate donald trump. And i dont think hes a good option for our country. I voted for donald trump because i agree with his position. New hampshire delivered the first election day poll results under state law. Communities that have less than 1000 can open at midnight. And donald trump off to an early lead there and winning precincts t 32 25. We were out in a Hillary Clinton event. A lot of voters wanted to vote for the first female president of our country. And our next guest thinks it is historic for a different reason. Donald trumps daughterinlaw is from North Carolina originally and will join us after the break. Choosing a president is almost as important as the right husband. And happy anniversary to you and eric on your anniversary today. What is it like . You didnt think some day i would be casting a vote for my fatherinlaw to be president. What was that like this morning . It is an upon amazing journey for our entire family and go in with my husband on a special day for us and cast our vote for donald trump was incredible. Think back to when he started and so many people didnt give him a shot. It was a tough 18 months for our family. And a lot has been be thrown at my fatherinlaw. And coming out and voting for him and seeing all he accomplished and the movementes behind him. And you can see there is a. What is the next like. And the entire process nasty as it has been. It is a blessing for all of us. And i think when you feel like you have the whole world against you. You have your family and it is incredible. We spoke to an official with with the democratic party. And one of the things he did was list off a long list of offenses for donald trump and you mentioned your family has had to deal with a lot of incoming. And voters that hear that list and get discouraged. I prefer to stay positive. We can go through Hillary Clintons list and we would be here all night. Shes been in politics 30 year and nothing to show for it other than criminal investigations. We can go on and on. I am proud of what my fatherinlaw has done. He created a movement and thats because people are sick and tired of establishment poll tegzs thchl is a businessman who wants to give up his life to run for the highest office in the land. And Hillary Clinton hasnt addressed them and my fatherinlaw. I give credit to. Any other person would not be standing. Hes winning in a lot of states. I am curious what your plan was in North Carolina. Where did you decide to it spend your time and efforts like and why . I am from the coast in wilmington it. The reality is, we wanted to be in the bigger are areas in charlotte and raliegh and talking to voters and women in particular. And we did spend a lot of time there. And i feel so fortunate that i got to spend time it in my home state and went to it places i had never been before even though i lived there the majority of my life. It is a learning process and one that i feel fortunate for. We have had nothing but friendly people in raliegh, North Carolina. For now, it is all poll tibs. And thank you for joining us. And best of luck. We appreciate it. Jon . Of course, the balance of pour in the u. S. Senate is up for grabs tonight. We are looking at a close senat race in missouri. What is that all about and what might that mean for tonight . Voting under way across the country. Were live in the battleground states where polling has been so tight. Well talk about that and we will be joined by guests to talk about today, tonight, and tomorrow. Election headquarters 2016 is coming up at the top of the hour. The balance of power in the u. S. Senate depends on what happens in just a handful of states and missouris race is shaping up to be a close one. But Donald Trumps message of change in washington might be helping the democratic candidate in the showme state. Rich is live in columbia, my old college town. Reporter a heck of a place, and it is a message that donald trump has employed effectively. It is also playing here in the Missouri Senate race. An army veteran, and he is a democrat. In his race against requiory bl, he is talking about ousting him. And with that, this race is essentially ties or close, and trump had a lead in the last few weeks, but rory blunt is very much typical republican against democrat. And he says it is important for control of the Supreme Court nomination process. If you look at missouri politics, this is a year like a lot of others where it is contest contested. Outside groups have unexpectedly spent tens of millions on this seat. If it goes to the democratics here, the possibility of the fact that it could be credited to perhaps the most unique voting cycle, the split trump and Senate Democrat cross overvote. Rich, thank you. Well be back from ohio and North Carolina in just a moment. Donald Trump Campaign buttons chanting love trumps hate did you happen to see this dog out in the parking lot . If this was my golden retriever hed be laying on my feet right now. Oh look thats my dog. There she is. Oh my god i love that apparently when it comes to dogs there are no political parties. I didnt ever expect myself to agree with a trump supporter. We do agree that we love dogs and dogs love us. I think fundamentally if you talk person to person they care about each other and they care about kids and they care about dogs and unfortunately thats not what gets out in the media things like this give us hope that we can all find Common Ground in some places and that was what we were just a part of. We all have our differences but everyone loves dogs. Best news from me today, the line of storms betweening in from the west. So far were dry in columbus, thank you for joining us. Well take the clear skies, in the meantime, it is an exciting night no matter where you are. Americas election Head Quarters starts right now. Hours from now well start making calls in states across the country learning who will be the next president of the United States. So the president ial president ial hopefuls did something today that several americans will also experience, stepping into a voting booth and voting for themselves. Donald trump did that at a public school, and Hillary Clinton did so in her home state. One will celebrate in the big apple, and
