While trump is trying to be and very much so president ial, diplomatic in extending the hand of not necessarily friendship, but engagement with a dialogue with russia, just like Ronald Reagan did, these should be our allies in fighting isis. Heres some interesting polling numbers, doug shown. If you look among hispanics, africanamericans, look at trumps number. 19 , the black community. Hes doing outreach in detroit. I thought his speech one of the best he ever gave. The hispanic number, its very strong. Yeah. If he gets up to the 90 number, 92 with republicans and he holds these numbers, hes the next president. That is true. The reason hillary went out today and i thought she did a good job today. She made it clear she disagrees with trump about putin. But the reason shes out is because she is sinking in the polls. I put that in my wall street journal article. Its a fact. She has to get out. She cant hide. She started today. A good first step, but, sean, this is a very close election. Two press conferences in a week. I mentioned the one earlier this week. Now i mentioned the one today. Shes not exactly getting hard hitting questions. We can look quinnipiac. Its 4747 in florida. No big surprise. In one poll, in the quinnipiac m p poll, shes up 47 perfect 43. 4645 trump in ohio. Hillary has got a lot of defending to do here and more options seem to be opening up for trump in terms of the electoral map if this continues, mercedes. Well, you know, again trump has been viewed as the underdog, right, sean . So then what has hillary done . Hillary has spent her time on just a one focus strategy, which is that saying trump is dangerous. Thats not enough because whats happening is trump is being very proactive. I mean just this week they outlined two separate messages. Beginning of the week, it was National Security, america first, peace through strength where you would have limited military engagement as well as a strong military. Thats a strong message. Then at the end of the week, what was he talking about, School Choice. Something thats a Kitchen Table issue. It draws in not only africanamericans that would be interested in this issue, hispanics, but also women, which we saw in the last cnn poll that with married women, hes actually doing better than Hillary Clinton. Hes up 54 . Shes got one ethical issue after another. Clinton foundation selling access, selling her soul. Shes got this whole issue with email that does not go away. Email might be the very reason she loses. But theres another reason. Shes not extremely principled. Listen to hillary flipflopping on issues like immigration, and then ill play her flipflopping the sunday after 9 11. Its the 15th anniversary this sunday. The sunday after 9 11, she was for racial profiling. So lets show Hillary Clinton in all of her flipping, flopping, flailing. Shes like john kerry voting for the 87 billion and then voting against it. Watch this. I do not think that it is either appropriate to give a drivers license to someone who is here undocumented. In 2007, you opposed giving drivers licenses to undocumented people. Why . Illegal immigrants would not be covered, no. They would not be covered. I want to open up the opportunity for immigrants to be able to buy in to the exchanges under the Affordable Care act. Everyone recognizes we have to tighten security. We have to do whatever it takes to keep our people safe. Including profiling, senator . Well, i think we have to do whatever it takes, sam. And i believe that, you know, tuesday changed everything. Tuesday was a day that america has never, ever had to experience. And i hope to heaven that we never have to again. Our media culture often mocks and demeans people of faith, and you understand that. Your values of love, charity, and faith built this nation. Our politicians have really abandoned you to a large extent. So let me state this right up front. And there are some republicans that seem to be putting their heads in the sand and not comparing trumps position on Supreme Court justices and his position on vetting refugees and securing our borders and eliminating obamacare and Energy Independence and education back to the states. Why do you think theres this mysterious reluctance among some, quote, the intelligentsia as they consider themselves in the Republican Party . Well, you know, theres a lot of good people among them. When people start early on when he had a little bit of a roughness about his speech and stuff and hes not too smooth, hes not slick, but hes completely honest. But early on they chose other people, and they built their own arguments against donald trump. And they were so in love with their own arguments, they couldnt let them go, and they still hold on to them a little bit sometimes. But i think coming toward this election, theyre going to realize the stakes, and you repeat them every night to people. You make that list of the important things that they should be thinking about. And i think theres going to be a unity coming on november 8th. Yeah, i hope so. You know, youre one of hollywoods biggest actors. One of my favorite agentors even before i knew you. And we had to go through all that process, and we actually filed a complaint against them for violating their own 501 c 3 status by only going after and filing complaints against conservative universities and churches. And so they never bothered us again after that. But theres so many churches and schools, conservative schools that are its a Chilling Effect on them. This is important, but i dont think most people even know what youre talking about with the Johnson Amendment. Why dont you explain what that is. Its a 1954 amendment that was attached to a bill in congress. It was signed by the president at the time, and it basically said no nonprofit organization, no university, no church can endorse or oppose a candidate. And so since that time, though, theres only been complaints filed against conservative churches and schools. Not liberal ones. Never liberal ones. A former new york mayor bloomberg spoke at harvard in 2014 for their commencement, and he chastised the ivy league because 96 of their faculty and staff donated to the obama administration. Many of their speakers were disinvited because they were conservatives, and they were denied an honor rear degree like the one you received at liberty once, sean. Its just very telling that this Johnson Amendment is only used against conservatives. Were the only ones that feel intimidated. They should have freedom of speech like everybody else.
