The show really starts tomorrow, and looked, the theory is if you can get one of them to flip, its a domino effect. Do you get michigan to flip, which dont get me wrong, but i do think the strategy all along has been to get into the legislatures, and per our constitution it still gets tricky, but per our constitution, each state legislature could conceivably take the right to vote back from the people and cast their states electoral votes. Mike all right, that is something to watch. On the legal fight, here is professor jonathan turley. No, im very sympathetic to the argument it does take time to get affidavits and evidence. On that part, they were perfectly valid saying they are now moving toward court, but this is really not the time for Opening Statements, this is the time for hard evidence. Mike your thoughts on that point . First of all, turley hasnt great lines, its not the time for Opening Statements, its the time for hard evidence. We have to find enough ballot fraud to overcome the margin of victory, and from day one, i set on the show two weeks ago, that could be very hard to do, the amount of time you have before december 14th. But with that said, it was important for the trump team, if they want to pursue this strategy, to start finding those pieces of evidence that support the case that there was systemic fraud, shall appoint dashboard systemic defects, to the point where maybe you can get a state legislature, may be the Republican Legislature in michigan, to say, you know what . This was just so defective, we think it is our obligation to cast michigans vote in favor of donald trump again, i think it is still a long shot, and you know, i think donald trump has to really considered which i dont think he is thinking about right now you know, if he loses, he becomes a private citizen, and as a private citizen, as we all know, theres still things lurking out there, so i dont think he is really making any deposits in the Goodwill Bank by pursuing this, but it is his right, and under the constitution, he could conceivably do it. Since 1887, i dont think a state has flipped their vote through their legislature, but we are going to find out, you know, he has defied the odds in everything he has done, so see if he can do it here. It is not overblown. Every election, you have pieces of voter fraud. This is taking it to a new level, so i do think there is some owns of validity to that statement. Most lets be honest with each other, if we are going to be a country that we are going to vote a third of the country, 40 of the country vote by mailin ballots or absentee ballots, then without question, we have to get this system straightened out so we have a better way to verify each ballot. Every legal vote should count, but we have to have a Better Process in place to make sure these votes are being cast properly. Mike i want to get to one final point. The deadline for certification for pennsylvania and michigan is monday, but in detroit, they say the numbers dont add up. At the meeting, you get what is called an overunder report, and we did not get that report this year this time, we were given an orderly, and we had to record everything by hand. An audit, comprehensive, should be able to dig down and find the explanation of why the number of voters doesnt match the number of ballots cast. Mike john, what do you of that . I think, in my view, it could be a concern for the democrats because we have seen black voters taking another look at republicans, especially President Trump. He did garner a nice, big outcome from black voter support versus the 2016 election, so there were significant outreach to black voters, the black voices for trump coalition, and the other initiatives that the president initiated throughout the black community, so i think the democrats are the ones that need to be on watch, on notice. Mike jessica, your response . I dont see it that way. President trump did get 18 of the black male vote, he did as badly with black female voters in 2016, and i dont see that changing. Different circumstance, though, President Trump is still longer on the ballot, david perdue and Kelly Loeffler on the ballot. Kelly loeffler has gotten in a tremendous amount of trouble with the black community, her comments about black lives matter, wnba players boycotting against her, and a lot of discussion of that down in georgia. She also wasnt able to clear the threshold to win out right on november 3rd, which i think says something about the situation. I realized doug collins was on the ballot. I am not concerned about black voters turning their backs on democrats in this, and we definitely have to stay focused on maintaining the edge we had, especially in the atlanta suburbs with white suburban voters, but donald trump isnt on the ballot commit i dont expect black voters to deliver this win for republicans. To the other point, trump is not on the ballot but you have to look at the fact democrats have taken advantage of black voter support for many, many years and have it delivered anything, whether quality education like school choice, lower taxes, less regulation, these are the issues and policies Kitchen Table issues all voters are looking at, but especially black voters. Democrats shouldnt just take black voter support for granted like they have been for many, many years. I think everyone in the country is fatigued, especially if you lived in a swing state and youve been seeing political ads for the last four months straight, but the gravity is not lost on voters, especially in a state like georgia, which flipped for joe biden, we just had the results of the recount, and they should be certified there, soon, 12,500 votes in the end after the hand recount. Voters know what they are doing. There were a significant number who voted for joe biden at the top and voted down ballot for republicans, so see if democrats can pull it off, but we have two solid candidate that i remain optimistic.
