That act does require federal monitoring mostly in Southern States and just hours after that Supreme Court ruling, texas became the first state to react. Lawmakers immediately implemented the new voter i. D. Law, but attorney general eric holder is arguing that discriminates against latino voters. In that ruling the court noted that the parties, and i quote, this is what the court said, the parties provided more evidence of discriminatory intent than we have space or need to address here. This is a federal court that said that. Reporter now, governor rick perry criticized holders moves saying its an end run around the high courts of the republican lawmakers and accused the white house of bullying the lone star state. I was totally geeking out watching the film but the problem is the movie peaks midway through and flattens a little bit and becomes a little mediocre so i did enjoy the movie, but i want to make sure people save money at home.
