So i think, you know, you could tune in to any School Board Meeting around the state of new jersey, and its going to be, unfortunately, the same situation. And, you know, governor murphys State Of Emergency is set to expire on february 11th, and parents around the state are advocating for Parent Choice when it documents Making Decisions for their children masking. Getting vaccinated. You know, making the decision that children are healthy enough to go back to school. And ending the quarantines, you know, what we saw at this meeting was, you know, really concerning. Its the epitome of rules for thee and not for me. You know, we are not just seeing it here and in new jersey but seeing it across the board across the country. We deserve as parents a proactive plan to get back to normalcy for our kids in the schools. And that plan better be implemented consistently, which unfortunately we did not see on monday night. The reality of what Law Enforcement basis, what the policies have created, the environment where cops are being hunted and shot at and now killed. You mentioned it. What struck me in looking at these young men and women with how young they are, how young they are, and yet willing to serve their city and their country just like detective rivera. The types of citizens willing to raise their right hand and uphold the rule of law regardless of what city and state leaders are talking about and das are pushing of bail reform and letting criminals out of jail. One officer said to me, twice a month, you can almost punch your ticket on it. Same guy, violent history, catch and release, catch and release. You cant bring safety to his city when you are rearresting people. Now the same thing is coming to the city. Its not just about the guns, its about the criminals. I think i shared the feeling of all Law Enforcement officers across this country. We are heartbroken and we are angry. Something needs to be done. The political rhetoric needs to stop. We need to have Real Sound Solutions on a path forward to the Revolving Door to keep serious violent offenders off the streets. And make our communities safe. I glanced at the headlines. You have reported on some here this morning. Two officers were shot and killed yesterday in bridgewater, virginia. Crime is out of control in houston. This past week alone with lax prosecution or Revolving Door offenders. Out of control. Off duty new york Police Department rookie shot attempting a carjacking. This is the reality. This is where we live. Im not sure when she made a comment about alternate universe, but this is a universe that most americans live in. Her words are a stark contrast with the on going discussion. Just this past week alone, stopping the Revolving Door that allows violent offenders to continue to destroy our communities and increase public safety. Speak of this is most predictable consequence. What was the defined at the police and make the police the bad guys. Still, here is jen psaki on a podcast mocking crime and kind of mocking fox. Talking on soft on crime consequences. What is that even mean, right . There is alternate universe on some coverage. What is scary about it is a lot of people watch that. Brian what is your thought . You want an apology from her. Her comments and their attitude. It was reckless and out of touch with literally thousands of americans whose lives are forever changed. Just this last year alone. What we need to do is we need to stop talking rhetoric and Start Talking solutions. Her comments are doing no good in helping move past this very difficult time in america. This is not a political issue. This is a people issue. It has dire consequences for not getting it right. Tomorrow, the president of the United States is going to come here to meet with the mayor of new york. Former Law Enforcement, he ran on law and order. Here in new york, it looks a lot different than it does in other parts of the country. Ultimately, we believe that he is going to ask the president for more help taking guns off the street. The president is going to say sure, i can do anything you want. He needs to do something, the president does to put pressure on eric adams to put pressure on the governor to put pressure on the democrats in new york to change the soft on crime approach when it comes to das and some liberal judges. No question. Weve had some very productive especially in recent weeks, productive discussions with both the Department Of Justice, the department of Homeland Security recognize the pattern that exists in the need to have some intervention, change what were doing here. Clearly its not working. I feel hopeful that we are moving in that right direction, because our conversations and actions i see unfolding now suggest that we are, we recognize that this is a serious problem in this country and we need to pull together and we need to get past this. This is not a political issue. I assure you the people are officers out on the street that put themselves in harms way he could care less about the politics of it. They took this job because its important to them to serve their communities. Thank god there is 800,000 men and women that sit up every day of shopping communities and do their job and protect the people that they swore to serve. Give him a chance. You want to cut him some slack . I can tell you what i do know and its not just in new york. Its in cities across this country. When we have violent offenders that are taken out the street only to be put back on the street for them to continue their violent actions, that is a failed experiment that is causing people their lives and making their communities left safe. And that his treatment from the Miami Dolphins was racially discriminatory. If you look at those three allegations of Racial Discrimination, they do not do me from a legal perspective added up to a very strong case at all. There is strong evidence that those were not racially motivated if the teams want to defend themselves as they already are. The giants and also the dolphins. But the allegations that he puts forward against the Miami Dolphins in particular that there was an offer of an actual 100,000 per loss when there was discussion of the Miami Dolphins taking to end up with the overall numberone pick. Also an allegation that dolphins only stephen met with tom brady when brady was about to be a free agent. Before he was officially a free agent that could be tampering. To me, those allegations which appear to have more evidentiary basis, while they arent as concerning, Public Relations perspective are more significant than his allegations of Racial Discrimination.
