And, in fact, that number has tracked with previous polls from other organizations that show donald trump has a lead on the number one issue for most voters jobs in the economy by 10, 12, even 14 ive seen over the last couple of weeks. So on that number one issue, trump has a huge built in advantage. On the number two issue, National Security, terrorism, trump either leads or is tied with mrs. Clinton. The problem this time is that this year is so different, stuart, that i actually think what the fbi did last week is the worst of all possible worlds. If they had recommended criminal charges, she could reposition herself as a victim, which we know over the last 25 years, thats where she thrives. With the fbi laying out the whole criminal case and then saying at the end, oh, by the way, were not going to recommend charges, its the worst for her this year because it plays into this idea that she and her husband float above the rule of law, that the rule of law is for suckers and not for them. That the global elite of which they are a big part that they dont have to do everything that we have to do. They dont have to obey the law. Iowa is an open carry state and theres the Second Amendment to the constitution that allows individuals to have the right to bear arms. However, in this case what we need are calmer heads and individuals who will not go rogue on us here in the city. Stuart now, as i understand it, nobody within shouting distance of the Convention Center where its going to be held, you cant have a backpack. I think thats create. Correct. Stuart how many extra cops have you moved in to cover this convention . There will be around 5,000 Law Enforcement agents in the area. Stuart 5,000. Whoa thats a lot. Any troops . Any soldiers . Obviously in the background but are they there . No. No, theres no troops. We havent declared a state of emergency or anything like that. So its all Law Enforcement. Stuart youve got a bomb squad or two . We do. Cleveland has a readily prepared bomb squad that would be actively patrolling the convention as well. Stuart and to get into the actual arena, how many metal detectors does everybody have to go through . Im not sure. But i know that security is going to be extremely tight, and its you know, credentials are going to have to be presented, and youre not just going to be able to walk into the quick and loans arena for this. Tens of thousands of utility substations are still vulnerable to terrorist attacks. How big that . And weve been saying that Bernie Sanders has turned the democrats into the socialist party with hillary nodding on an agreement there. The substations have nobody in there. Am theyre just protected by a chainlink fence, they take the power of the facility and modulate it and where it goes to the homes and businesses. So they found dozens of attacks in bakersfield, california, san jose, outside silicon valley, san diego, in phoenix. And heres the problem. These blackouts could last weeks or more. Theyve found saboteurs going in and theyre not looking to steal. Theyre going in to attack the power system. Stuart thats vulnerability, monk. Thats you take out one of these substations and take power out for a large number of people at a given time. Thats right. In fact, a couple of years ago there was this armed attack on a sub station in california. We didnt hear about it for a year. A year went by and then finally the story made it to the wall street journal, and they reported it a couple of years ago. So you have to worry how far along plans are to attack. Stuart tens of thousands of how do you guard tens of thousands of these power stations . How do you do that . Well, its private companies own them and are supposed to report the breakins to the government. The government doesnt really enforce it. They dont know in many cases who the assailants were. They never got these guys. Also there are has been legislation proposed in congress because in order to protect the power stations, its relatively cheap to do it. Only like 50, 60, million dollars. Maybe a little bit more than that. Its not an exposure ant amount of money and for any Reason Congress cant get this done. Stuart why dont we check the big board . Free college, universal healthcare, a huge increase in the minimum wage, crackdown on wall street, tax the rich, i dont think that is a minor shift to the eft, i think that is a huge road to the socialist left. Where have you been . Bernie sanders isnt even a socialist, he is a new deal democrat. The idea that somehow Hillary Clinton has become a socialist is laughable. The Party Platform you are referring to, many of those pieces have been in place for decades. This is nothing new, the question is what will Hillary Clinton prioritize. She is not a democratic socialist, she is way to the right of bernie supporters like myselfand it would be nice if we had one but we havent. Stuart this is a Financial Program the deals heavily in economics. I want you to tell is in clear terms how you get growth in the American Economy if you have a vast increase in the taxation of our country . How do you get growth . If you look at the track record from 1945 on you can see democrats have an excellent track record. Republicans like Ronald Reagan have tripled the deficit, they are the primary Drivers Behind the growth and debt and deficit and if you look at paying for these things you restore on the wealthiest americans about growth. You tell me growth isnt connected to the deficit . The economy is 1 growth at the moment. You propose to have a massive increase in taxation. Tell me how a huge increase in taxation results in Economic Growth . Because you actually tax the people who can afford to pay for it so others can get education and training that produce growth. You restore the income tax rate. Stuart show me an economy that what you have said should be the 90s, bill clinton, the 90s and bill clinton. If you look at obamas economy he has not only pulled us out of the catastrophic liquidity crisis, we also have Remarkable Growth given stuart he didnt pull it out let me ask it was the Federal Reserve which pulled us out of the liquidity crisis, not president obama. Listen to this. Back to the question at this moment at this very moment in time if you live in certain parts of the country you make decent money and the eastern seaboard in california, make decent money, you are already paying over half of your income in taxes, city, state or federal government. Over half. I say that is immoral, flatout immoral for anybody to do that and you obviously think it is just fine. My responses twofold, income any quality is immoral, the fact that most of the wealth in our country is inherited, we dont have a mandatory a system that works for everyone is immoral. People who work 40 hours a week and cannot pay their bills, that is immoral. Want to talk about morality lets talk about distributing of wealth in our country that is not meritorious. Stuart i have asked so many times that you never address it. I think it is immoral for government to take more than half of someones income. That is what they are doing now. You are misrepresenting the case, misrepresenting the case, the wealthiest americans are laughing at what you are saying because we know how tax havens work, we dont pay 50 of our wealth in taxes, give me a break. Tax loopholes, all kind of investment, come on. Of the what are you a professor of economics . You just confuse two things. I have a business degree. Tax wealth in this country, we tax income. I dont think you are doing the strivers make income. Is that your best response when i call you on the fact that the wealthiest americans do not pay 50 of their wealth, your best response is to quibble about the terms i use . Stuart do you want to take wealth, if i am a wealthy guy i got 1 billion in the stock market or real estate market, do you want to take half of it, just sees it . Is that what you want to do . Yes. If you are making money off of money i would like that to go and redistribute to other americans. It is immoral to make money off of money you dont do anything forcibly because you were born into wealth. That is immoral. What is immoral is our system of economy that doesnt actually help most americans, that is immoral. Stuart we completely disagree. I hope we agree on that. We one never ever get a finger on the lever of power. No interest in your power or wealth, no interest in that. I know it is difficult to believe but there are a lot of americans who are not interested in amassing wealth just to amass wealth. Stuart you want to take it. I want people to be able to work and live i want people stuart seizing her parents wealth. Have you asked them about this . Are they in favor of it . You come from a wealthy family. Have you asked your mom and dad about seizing half of their wealth . My father passed away so i cant. Stuart sorry about that. My family wealth, my family does redistribute their wealth as do i. I give a lot of it away because i am not interested in a world in which people who are working fulltime cannot pay for basic necessities. We can get to a better system of taxation.
