We dont know which way the result will be, but if we were to pass amnesty, bring in amnesty for 5 million illegal immigrants, what is the effect . Well, these people are already working here. The effect on the economy would probably be for wages to go up. There would be less vulnerable to employers who mistreat them and do not pay them and things like that. But it would send a signal to others that they should think about coming. Once you have a second amnesty after first the message is pretty clear. Lou what is your thought in terms of Public Policy . What is the United States to do . What would you counsel republicans, what would you counsel democrats . The unskilled or high skills . Lou all of it.
