They havent mentioned any kind of meeting between the two leaders as well but this would be in keeping with what weve heard from south korean officials and intelligence that they believe this is the way both countries are going in. There was the Russian Defense minister came to pyongyang. He was given the red carpet treatment. A defense minister hadnt come to pyongyang since the paul of the fall of the soviet union. And potentially now were looking at a leadertoleader meeting, which had been flagged by the Biden Administration last week. They did also say that there would be repercussions, if there were any kind of arms deal between these two countries. There are, of course, u. N. Security Council Resolutions banning any kind of deals like this, resolutions which russia signed on to. But certainly, the concern in washington and seoul is that this is going to go ahead. Omar. But how have the contracts theyve signed in past decades playing into this round of negotiations .
