In this case to hack into these emails and use it and to do one overt act in furtherance of that. You dont have to know everything about the conspiracy or be a part of everything. You can be part of you can be liable for the entire conspiracy if you help it along and you know its happening. There has to be an underlying crime there. The question is, what if Anything Else was happening and was that a crime. In other words, was a u. S. Citizen or anybody associated with the campaign in any way involved in the hacking.
