First new york city was the place that was having this huge jump and then that got better and then other places like in texas and in florida and now we are seeing it going out to rural areas. A lot of people who probably thought im not such a risk, people in other parts of the country now those people need to think what can i do . I need to wear masks religiously, practice social distancing. The nights at the bars, put that on hold for a while. Like every week just kind of feels like a snapshot. Right . The cdc said for months now that it did not recommend the use of face shields alone or the use of masks with exhale valves in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The reason for that is a face shield is a solid plastic barrier so it will protect against splatter and against drop lets. However, a significant proportion of coronavirus is spread via aerosolized particles and propelled and face shields cannot protect against those particles, part is with the design. There are large gaps in the face shield at the sides, at the chin and neck and entry point for these particles. It is like a restaurant with a smoking section. These are the groups of people succumbing to the virus at faster rates so i assume that those would be the groups that wed like to protect. So if you have folks who right now are not amenable to getting it which is pretty alarming, maybe it will change as a vaccine comes out and more information about it but keeping that in mind how long do you think that it will take to get through the general population, to get a vaccine through the general population . I really cant say. A lot of it depends on the data thats released as phase three trials continue. We have seen that theres a few companys that are starting phase three trials now and we have to see what the data shows. A lot of companies in phase three trials are saying that they will have to do vaccines that are not single dose but double dose vaccines which definitely can affect people adhering to the treatment plans if you have to come back within 21 or 28 days to get the second dose so theres still a lot of unknown factors to affect how well people take to news of a vaccine approved. The president of the United States essentially is saying its okay to take up arms without authority, go into the streets and act out a video game with protesters. But even if people are in the streets, breaking the law, rioting and looting, it is not the role of a private citizen to police them and to shoot them. Thats not how the president of the United States sees it. We had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend and in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms with gear and this and that. Theyre on a plane. Where was this . Ill tell you sometime but it is under investigation right now but they came from a certain city and this person was coming to the Republican National convention. And they were like seven people on the plane like this person and then a lot of people were on the plane to do big damage. Do you have any idea what he is talking about, miles . No, brianna. I asked people that i know at the white house today via secure message what the president was saying there. No one could give me a straight answer. I want to ask you about portland, the department of Homeland Securitys acting secretary chad wolf warned the mayor that if the unrest continues the federal government will quote have no choice but to protect the american citizens. What might that mean . What are you concerned that might mean . Yeah. My biggest concern there is that we have someone who runs the department of Homeland Security indicating to state and local officials they may send in the feds. Thats traditionally not something that a secretary of Homeland Security would say. Perhaps the president , perhaps the attorney general whos actually the nations chief Law Enforcement officer, but dhs has historically been a nonpartisan Law Enforcement agency so i think this is alarming. So you would only bring the president on a saturday afternoon to walter reed in a really in an urgent, unplanned way if there was something you couldnt handle at the white house. That is of great concern. We dont know what happened. It is interesting that the president brought up the possibility of mini strokes because that would be something that one would need imaging that could not be done at the white house but whatever happened was significant and potentially required the 25th amendment to be invoked and now time for the white house to tell us what it is. Dr. Connolly has gone on record saying this is not cardiac or not neurologic but we need to know the truth. Something of consequence happened last november and they need to tell the public what it was. Lets just talk about his health generally. He is up in years, right . Both of these candidates are. So im not upset that hes come. Honestly, maybe it should have happened a little sooner. Maybe they could have waited a little bit. Either way i feel like its his job to show up. So its his job as president to show up. I wonder what you want to hear from him, what you think the Community Needs to hear from him. So, i dont personally, i can only speak on the community where i reside. I dont feel like the Community Needs to hear anything specifically. I think its more of like a presence thing, you know. People, i dont feel like they want to hear any Campaign Slogans or anything like that, especially when were trying to heal and rebuild, but the presence is something that i feel is necessary. And i guess personally so for you its not so much hearing. Its him being there. Is there anything you want him not to say or not to focus on that you think would not be the right message for this time . Um, i would like not to hear that the people of the community were the people that did this, because thats not the case. So, as long as people arent attributing the destruction to the people of the community, ill be all right with anything else. Okay. You live near where the deadly shooting happened. 17yearold Kyle Whittenhouse is accused of shooting three people and killing two of them. You say you saw this suspect before the shooting, that you heard the gunshots. Can you tell us more about that, what you saw and heard and experienced . Yeah. So, i documented pretty much the entire night, pretty much every night of the protests and riots. For months ive been documenting. So when i met down by the kenosha i went down by the kenosha guard before the protesters headed in that direction, to survey the scene, see what they were all about. They were all friendly to me. Most people in the Community Know who i am, so they kind of came up to me, talked to me a little bit. But i noticed kyle was there. He was kind of by himself, standing by some people but he seemed to be alone, if that makes sense to you. I noticed he was kind of chain smoking. He looked relatively young. So, you know, he seemed kind of nervous, so he kind of stood out to me. From there, i kind of, you know, took a mental note of that. So when things happened later on and i noticed him running past me by himself with no one chasing him, i thought it was interesting, which led me down to the scene where the shootings took place.
