I go, well, um usually, barbara, when you give an interview, do an interview, you usually give three compliments and then go in for the kill. So when she was leaving the view, the producers asked me if there was something that id like to do. And i said, well, my dream would be to interview her as her. Continues to get out on the dance floor, every chance she does. All of her grandkids and her Great Grandkids love her so much, and we are excited to keep partying with her in 2023 and beyond. She said, my husband, jeffrey and i welcomed our first child, bennett. Two days later, my husband found a large tumor in his hip, which turned out to be cancer. The rest of the year has been doctors, surgery, and sickness, while not trying to let the joy of our first baby passes by. The first round of chemo was in december and she wants you to know, jeffrey, even though this year was a challenge, you are coming out stronger than ever. Thank you so much. We wish you all the best. They really found the joy with their son, that brought them through. So many people going through so much this year. Facing a lot of challenges ahead, we are all here together tonight. It is just theres a weight about being at home at the time that is a joyful weight. Yes. The last two weeks i didnt go anywhere. My wife is half iranian and she was quite active, she has been quite act i ive. Shelves a she was actually one of the first to cut her hair. I think what is happening in afghanistan and what is happening to the women is pretty awful, and we have to do something about it. We cant let it go on. Yes. And the taliban in afghanistan has stopped women from being able to work for ngos, which i mean is one well, theres a deep hypocrisy at work as well there, too. Of course. And the strength and the courage of iranian people to continue to go out and protest is incredible. In the wake of hangings and protesters, it is an extraordinary thing. Theyve been amazing. In iran, i dont know if they still do it, but for a while when they hang people, it is not hanging somebody and letting them drop, which breaks their neck, instantly kills them. It is picking somebody up with a crane so that it is actually suffocation, strangulation. It is very, very particularly brutal. Anyway. Okay. Im glad you said it because people need to know it.
