missing plane, mh-370. joining me now from parris is cnn's senior international correspondent jim bitterman along with cnn safety analyst and safety inspector david soucie in new york. jim, how long might it take to determine the origins of this piece of that boeing 777? >> well, they're peckiexpecting look at it in toulouse, franz. and they'll say right away that it's mh-370. i don't think there's people that doubt this. there's only been four crashes of 777s in the world. all three of them have been over land, including london and in san francisco and one that was shot down in the ukraine. over one, mh-370, went down over water and this flaperon, this part that fell off was found floating in the ocean is not just the kind of thing that falls off an airplane. it had to be an impact that would take that part of the wing off. so i think it's -- all signs are this is part of the mh-370
