again. he's already been convicted. do you think the jury though will buy this argument that it was all chauvin's fault? >> it's really the only argument they have at this point in time. they're blaming the guy who's already accepted sresponsibilit for this. it makes sense to try to deflect. whether the jury buys it or not, i don't know. your guess is as good as mine, laura. i think it's a smart strategy. it might be the only play they have. they can say, listen, i wasn't the person that did this to george floyd. the government's argument is not that they were necessarily the people that did this but that they failed to act and stop derek chauvin when he was doing it and they failed to check up on george floyd when they realized something was wrong. >> yeah. it seems strange to me that they took this case to trial instead of trying to get a plea deal like derek chauvin did in his federal case. maybe that wasn't an option for them. see where this goes. julius kim, thank you for coming
