get paid between $5,000 and $10,000 a week, and they are worth every penny of that. they're worth every penny of that. but that sucks staff out of other hospitals. so all over the united states, e.r.s, for instance, are filled with icu patients who don't have a bed in the intensive care units because -- not because there are no beds but because there are no nurses. now, layer on top of that baseline a surge in people being admitted with covid and it's a prescription for a disaster. and what the public needs to do now is lock arms and rally behind our health care professionals, protect our hospitals. and the way to do that is to mask up, vax up, and boost up. otherwise, if you have a heart attack or if you have a stroke, your hospital isn't going to be able to help you. this is a real problem in this country, and the public needs to understand that if cases soar, even if a lot of them are mild, our hospitals are not going to be able to handle this. >> dr. reiner, hope they're
