breaking news tonight. the new york times is reporting that the planning that went into last month's prison escape in upstate new york was fore far more elaborate than anyone imagined unfolding over months right under the eyes of prison guards who were asleep on the job. and we are not speaking figuratively. they actually were asleep. according to the times, convicted murderer david sweat is releasing details to investigators about how he and richard matt managed to bust out of the correctional facility. matt was killed on the run after he and sweat parted ways. mr. sweat is being held in solitary confinement at a different maximum security prison. randy indicate joins me now. we knew they had done practice runs on the escape route. but now you are learning more about the adventures in the prison tunnels. it seems they were extensive.
