A ‘CHARMER’ of a man who contracted coronavirus after being admitted to hospital with a number of health issues died as a result of multi organ failure, an inquest heard.
Brett Deakin of Withins Drive, Breightmet, died aged 42 in Royal Bolton Hospital on July 28 of last year.
He had been unemployed for sometime due to a knee injury, but had worked as a paver and for a cable company in the past.
An inquest at Bolton Coroners Court heard yesterday that he caught covid while in hospital care after an operation.
Dr Jonathan Pearson, who conducted the postmortem examination at Royal Bolton Hospital mortuary, told the court that there was some scarring on Mr Deakin’s body, which he said could be due to a history of drug use.
