GRETNA (WVUE) -The Jefferson Parish Council will discuss Mardi Gras 2021 and the possibility of moving forward with Carnival season amid the pandemic.
The council will discuss when parades could happen later this year.
In the ordinance, it says the council has the “intention to host parades when the community reaches COVID-19 immunity.”
Jefferson Parish Councilwoman Jennifer Van Vrancken has previously said parades will likely not roll during Carnival season.
