A Thurso man has admitted having deliberately sparked a bomb scare he knew to be false, at two commercial premises in Inverness.
Rory McCallum pleaded guilty at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday and will be sentenced next month.
The 42-year-old passed a note to Yvonne McIver, an assistant at the Morrisons store in Millburn Road, stating that there was a bomb in the vicinity which was "liable to explode or ignite".
