Threatened Flint witnesses will get new protections through Genesee County program

Two weeks after a star witness in two homicide cases was killed in Flint, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has signed a memorandum of understanding with the city, agreeing to provide temporary housing, safe travel and other help to witnesses whose lives may be in danger.
