Thierry Henry named France Under-21 coach

Thierry Henry has been named the new France Under-21 coach until 2025.
The 46-year-old former Arsenal and Barcelona forward left his role as assistant manager of the Belgium national team after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Henry will lead France for the next qualifying campaign of Euro 2025 and the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
His predecessor, Sylvain Ripoll, was dismissed in July following France’s disappointing performance in the Under-21 European Championship this summer, where they were knocked out by Ukraine at the quarter-final stage.
