Theresa Balboa now charged with Capital Murder in Samuel Olson death

ABC affiliate KTRK 13 News in Houston is reporting that Theresa Raye Balboa has now been charged with Capital Murder in the death of 5-year-old Samuel Olson. The body of the child was found in a Jasper motel room, along with Balboa, on the evening of June 1st.
Balboa, 29, is one of three people charged in the case. She was arrested shortly after the child’s body was found and has been jailed ever since. Her initial charge was Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence-Human Corpse.
The other two suspects charged in the case are Dylan Ray Walker and Benjamin Rivera, both 27.
Investigators say Walker was a friend of Balboa and he drove Balboa and the child’s body to Jasper and dropped her off at the Best Western Motel on West Gibson Street. Walker was recently arrested after he was indicted by the Jasper County Grand Jury on a charge of Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair.
