ATTICA TWP. – The Lapeer County Spelling Bee has quietly been an area institution for at least two decades. Generations of amateur othographers have vied for the title of the county’s top speller, but these days, it’s a partnership between the Lapeer County Intermediate School District (LCISD) and The County Press that makes it happen.
