Climate change has forced drastic changes in the snow sports community across the globe, but in North Carolina — where the temperatures fluctuate more and natural snow is often infrequent — it carries a much more immediate consequence to the industry than other skiing and snowboarding hubs such as Utah, Colorado, or Vermont.
