The dollar exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange rose above 87 rubles for the first time since March 29, 2022. The euro has already managed to update the next maximum, exceeding the mark of 95 rubles. Earlier, Georgy Ostapkovich, Director of the Center for Market Studies of the Institute for Statistical Studies, commented on a sharp increase in the exchange rate in a number of major Russian banks. He said the increase was due to a sharp rise in the value of the ruble against the dollar.
