Superchargers can deliver enough power to a car’s battery in 15 minutes to cover 200 miles.
The manufacturer’s website says superchargers are planned for Rownhams in the third quarter of this year and at Winchester in the first quarter of 2022.
There is already a supercharger at Norton Park, Winchester.
Tesla’s chief executive Elon Musk recently tweeted that the company would allow other electric vehicles to use its global network of chargers, beginning before the end of 2021.
The government has boosted sales of electric cars by bringing forward a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars to the 2030.
