In Ternopil, there is a decrease in the rise of coronavirus (COVID-19) incidence, so the City Commission on Emergency Situations decided not to introduce additional lockdown restrictions from Jan. 8, Mayor of the city Serhiy Nadal said.
“A meeting of the City Commission on Emergency Situations took place, where we heard information from our medical workers, the health protection department, information from teachers (…) over the recent few days, we have not that there is no increase in the number of patients, while there is a decrease in people who are ill who are in our medical institutions with COVID-19 (…) Therefore, today the City Commission on Emergency Situations decided not to introduce any additional quarantine restrictions to those that were already in force before,” Nadal said on the air of the T1 Novyny local television channel.
