When she began her Mayday Mile challenge, Teresa, 52, had hopes of raising £300 for RNLI Weymouth, where she works as the head of fundraising. After crossing the finish line of her 31st mile, Teresa has raised £2,000 more than she dreamed she would - with a total of £2,300.
She said: "I want to thank each and every one of you who has supported my in my Mayday Mile challenge, it has been absolutely mindblowing, all the words of encouragement from my family, friends and complete strangers."
As head of fundraising, Teresa was keen to lead by example and is proud to have put her best foot forward to raise money for a charity she has supported in many capacities, including organising a lifeboat week fundraising event and working in the RNLI shop.
