The Tamara Howe School of Dance along with Ballet Salina will perform Textures of Spring at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 15.
Textures of Spring combines two scores of music, the first act will feature dancers in the ballet Giselle. Giselle is a romantic-era ballet that features a peasant girl and Duke Albrecht. It is a tragic love story filled with beauty and grace.
The second act will feature dancers of all ages in Four Seasons. Four Seasons was originally choreographed by Jerome Robbins for the New York City Ballet. It is a one-act ballet featuring Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn.
