Visitor numbers at major Sydney attractions have fallen up to 75 per cent because of border closures and travel restrictions, as tourism operators warn that domestic travellers will not fill the gap left by international visitors.
The operator of BridgeClimb and Scenic World says the COVID-19 crisis had been âdevastatingâ for the tourist attractions.
The loss of international travel has had a âdevastatingâ impact on many tourism businesses in the Blue Mountains, said Scenic World managing director Anthea Hammon.
