BUSHNELL – Edward J. Lynum, who once ran for election for his mother’s vacated seat on Orlando City Council, and for county judge in Sumter, has been arrested and charged with threatening to harm two circuit judges and others.
“God strengthens us to kill … it is time to kill,” the 45-year-old suspended lawyer said in one social media post, according to his arrest affidavit.
In another posting, he allegedly wrote: “Like, David, I will kill Goliath and hold up his bloodied and severed head with a smile on my face.”
“Good luck ducking and dodging bullets from inside your own white castles…good luck surviving the deluge,” one posting read.
