Police say a domestic dispute ended in a deadly triple shooting and fire in Southeast D.C. Monday night. On Friday, the suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of murder.
The Metropolitan Police Department announced early Friday that 32-year-old Keanan Christopher Turner of Forestville, Maryland, had been named as a suspect in the crimes, and an arrest warrant was issued by the D.C. Superior Court.
Members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, the United States Marshals Special Operations Group and the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Turner later that day.
On Saturday, D.C. Police said Turner was charged with two counts of first-degree murder while armed (premeditated) and assault with intent to kill while armed.
