The Supreme Court has issued a notice to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi while hearing a plea to stop rallies held by VHP. The matter has been listed on August 4. The Supreme Court has asked for hate speech and violence to be stopped, CCTV cameras to be installed, and additional forces to be deployed if required. The Centre has also been ordered to ensure that no hate speech or violence takes place in Delhi-NCR. Five people, including two homeguards, have died in communal clashes that broke out in Nuh Chowk in Haryana.
