Sudbury records one new COVID case on Thursday

The new case was recorded in Greater Sudbury.
The health unit also continues its vaccination efforts. Some 125,364 people in the region have received their first dose, and 70,184 are now fully vaccinated as of July 1.
The COVID-19 outbreak declared at the Holy Trinity Site of Discovery Early Learning and Care is still active.
In other news, Public Health is advising the public of a new location for mass immunization clinics on Manitoulin Island.
All mass immunization clinics previously scheduled at the NEMI Recreation Centre in Little Current or the Mindemoya Missionary Church will take place at Manitoulin Secondary School located at 107 Bay St. in M’Chigeeng.
