Strasburg council mulls Cedar Estates proffer amendment

The amendment was approved by the Planning Commission last week.
William Aikens, vice president of operations for the site developer H&W Construction, has said his company has added a second national builder for the project. The increase in permits would allow them to coordinate a fair plan for both developers to complete it by the end of 2021, he said.
The increase in permits would allow the developer to complete the project about six to nine months sooner than expected, said Lee Pambid, planning and zoning administrator, during Monday’s meeting. Staff recommended the approval saying it is in line with the comprehensive plan and similar documents.
