Story Homes given green light to build 335 homes in Whitehaven

A PLAN to build 335 new family homes on an existing development in Whitehaven has been approved by Copeland Borough Council.
Story Homes has received the blessing of the borough council’s planning panel for a third phase of expansion at the Edgehill Park development.
The company submitted the application in November 2020 and as anticipated received the verdict at the council’s planning panel on Wednesday.
Senior Development Planner, David Hayward, said: “We are delighted that the Copeland Borough Council’s Planning Panel has granted approval for a third phase of homes at Edgehill Park, a development that has been popular with our customers to date.
