Just outside a metal fence at the Wynne High School football stadium is a plaque commemorating the “Yellowjacket Pressbox,” constructed in 1985. Thirty-eight years later, the pressbox was one of the many structures destroyed by a tornado that ripped through the town of roughly 8,000 people at 4:30 p.m. Friday, killing four of those residents.
