Spirit Lake’s boys track team had a stellar outing at a meet hosted by Dordt University on Monday, March 18. The Indians earned nine top-three finishes at the meet in Sioux Center.
Ethan Stecker and Qamerin Hussey earned wins to lead the way. Hussey won the 400-meter race in 52.10 seconds. Stecker won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.30 seconds, edging Spirit Lake teammate Cooper Winkel’s runner-up time of 8.47 seconds.
