Spreading kindness: Handmade gifts distributed to families in need this week

WORTHINGTON — When the Community Christmas Baskets program came to an end after last year, there remained a stash of perfectly nice gifts — handmade wooden toys and board games, lovingly stitched quilts and an array of other items.
