will be released posthumously in 2021.
The set, titled
The Head Up Project
, was recorded during a live 2001 performance in Deftones' hometown of Sacramento, California.
The Head Up Project
is being released by Buckle Up Chi, a seat belt advocacy group formed in honor of the musician following his death. Cheng was involved in a serious car accident in 2008 which left him in a semi-comatose state. He died in 2013.
