Special Tributes Planned For Chester Memorial Day Event

CHESTER, NJ — Officials and residents of both Chester Borough and Township will join together on Monday for Chester's Annual Memorial Day Commemoration, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Maysey Memorial on Main St. in Chester Borough.
The event will include patriotic music, speeches and inspiring stories to mark the day, then conclude with "Taps" and a rifle salute, to remember members of the military who gave their lives for the United States.
Attendees will gather at the Memorial Park, with Chester Volunteer Fire Company #1, Chester Police, Chester Volunteer First Aid Squad and local scouts, serving in full uniform as color guard.
