South Sioux City students and alum march and protest after school hours

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -- Last week, students at South Sioux City High School protested on campus to bring light to a variety of issues they felt were not being addressed by school officials.
This comes days after a video from the school district says safety, diversity and respect are important behaviors in their schools, and they expect it from all students and staff.
However, it emphasized that protesting on campus was prohibited and could lead to disciplinary actions.
Friday, students went ahead with a planned protest--this time off of school grounds.
