Some Las Cruces Parks and Rec facilities closed amid Red level restrictions

LAS CRUCES - Because Doña Ana County slipped back to Red level restrictions for public spaces due to the pandemic, the city Parks and Recreation Department is closing its aquatics facilities and all recreation centers.
The New Mexico Department of Health will release an updated Red-to-Green framework color map on March 10. The county could move back to Yellow if the COVID-19 test positivity rate drops below 5%.
