Snacks manufacturer Lotus Bakeries is launching a $62 million project to add three new production lines and 111,000 sq ft of space to its Mebane, NC production facility, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper recently announced.
“We’ve done the research and after considering the alternatives, we’re thrilled to expand our operations in North Carolina,” Michelle Singer, general manager for Lotus Bakeries US, said in a release. “Mebane provides our company a great location to manufacture our products while offering our skilled employees a rewarding and nice place to live.”
