CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — President Biden has ordered federal assistance for the state of Texas due to the severe winter storm.
The president's action authorizes the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA to coordinate all disaster relief efforts.
We’re now looking at the road and weather conditions that prompted the order along Shoreline Boulevard.
There are slippery sidewalks and roadways galore.
We received video last night that shows the Texas Department of Transportation de-icing some of the bridges and overpasses.
